CrystalMaker 5.1 Released Free Update Available for Version 5.0 Users |

7 April 2002. CrystalMaker 5.1 is now shipping, with
a free update available
for licensed users of version 5.0.
CrystalMaker 5.1.0 includes significant improvements to the program's interface and performance. Major changes include easier editing of atom, bond and element lists; calculation of lattice plane d-spacings (Show Lattice Plane dialog); a new "blank" bond style; the addition of window "proxy" icons to titlebars; easier selection of atoms using the Arrow tool; import of site occupancies from ICSD files; better management of temporary "cache" files; user-defined axis colours and finally, a number of bug fixes. CrystalMaker 5.1 is available as an optimized Macintosh PowerPC program, running on System 7.1 through to the latest Mac OS 9 (including the Mac OS X "Classic" environment). |
