Why are no atoms plotted when I change the plot range?
If you are using a polyhedral model, the explanation is probably that no intact polyhedra lie within your plot range: only complete polyhedra can be plotted. The solution is therefore to try increasing the plot range (an easy way of doing this is to click the Expand button in the Plot Range window).

Alternatively, check to see whether you have any hidden atoms (atoms which have been hidden by site and/or element are represented by open circles in the Info window). You may have selected the Hide Stranded Atoms command, or the Hide Molecular Fragments command previously. To make hidden atoms visible, use the Edit > Show All command.
